Laura and David are the type of couple that are so perfect for each other, they can finish each other’s sentences and they are always attentive to each other’s needs. I’ve seen plenty of couples write a little note for each other during the getting ready process on the morning of their wedding, but I’ve never seen a groom as thoughtful as David, who actually had written multiple notes for Laura to open throughout the whole day! Too cute.
Their outdoor wedding was on the lovely grounds of Dellwood Country Club in the late afternoon, so that it wouldn’t be too hot for guests (and the sun not as harsh for photos). There were lots of little details throughout the day that made photographing their wedding special–a friend that had come over all the way from Europe, the red 1959 VW Beatle, the centerpieces of books that were a nod to Laura’s writing background, the watering of an orchid during the ceremony, the broach on Laura’s bouquet that had been a gift from her father to her grandmother when he was in the Army, and both of their wonderful family members that treated me as one of their own all weekend.
Congratulations again, you two!
