It doesn’t take too long being in the same room as Kristin and KC to figure out that these two are prefect for each other. They are both home-grown ACRs (ie Gainesville-raised), huge Florida Gator fans (their wedding date was carefully picked for a weekend when the basketball team wasn’t playing), and both so much fun to be a round (anytime I see them makes my day a zillion times more awesome). They are also incredibly caring people, with big hearts who both have jobs that work to make a positive impact in our community.
I became friends with Kristin a bit before the two of them got engaged and she was just one of those people that I instantly knew I needed in my life. Needless to say when they did get engaged, I was beyond honored when they asked me to be their wedding photographer. Yes, yes and YAS!
Their wedding day was just as perfect as they are, with so many details that really personalized the celebration. From photos with the bridal party in “The Swamp” and beer from Swamp Head (the local brewery Kristin and KC have spent many a fun evening at over the years), to local BBQ for dinner an even a whole craft/activity room for the kiddos (you can take Kristin out of the classroom but not the classroom out of Kristin), every detail of the day really said Kristin & KC. There was even a print in the bridal getting ready suite (which was at the Seagle Building) designed by the same guy that designed their wedding invitations and a random painting with the artist signature of Kristin’s maiden name!!! You just couldn’t have asked for more positive signs that this wedding was meant to be! Check out some of the highlights from the day below.
